The Magic of Manatee is a unique, friendly, upbeat, community-oriented group of extraordinary women, impacting lives with the joy of singing! Our fun-filled sisterhood of 4-part a capella harmony is committed to musical growth and excellence, quality performance, personal enrichment, community enhancement, and charitable endeavors. Our members come from all walks of life and from many different professions.The one thing we all share in common is our passion for singing and performing!
The Magic of Manatee performs throughout the year for groups of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to public events. We also compete in our annual regional chorus competition.Vocal instruction is a regular (and fun!) part of our weekly rehearsals.
The Magic of Manatee chorus has been a fixture in our community for 65 years! Our diverse musical repertoire, from barbershop classics to modern a capella arrangements, provides audiences with a unique and unforgettable musical experience.
The Magic of Manatee is member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of women singers dedicated to singing a capella...barbershop style. To learn more about the unique American art form of barbershop music click here. Sweet Adelines International is divided into 24 regions that span the globe. Our chorus is a member of Region 9-Coastal Harmony, which includes all of Florida, plus South Carolina, and is comprised of 800 members in 18 choruses and 30 quartets.
